Jr. Lessons
Jr. Lessons have finished for the summer. Thanks parents and youth for coming out to the Fun Day, have a great rest of the summer
Centura Hills provides an excellent countryside golf experience. Established in 1996 the course has matured and continues to get better through constant improvements. For example, additional 100 trees were added in 2003, reconstructed bunkers and additional bunkers in 2004 & 2005. The 7th hole is the signature hole and the course’s most challenging due to its length, sloping terrain, native rough, out of bounds and the creek that is in front of the green. Although the course begins with a few friendly holes designed to inspire confidence, one had better be ready for "Amen Bend" (holes 7-9). This is a section of the course where a church is nearby, the creek bends through the course, trouble lurks everywhere and bogies abound.
The 18-Hole course features a Putting Green, Driving Range, Rental Clubs, Rental Carts, Pull Carts, Locker Room, Showers, Snack Bar, and Meeting Room. After your round of golf, enjoy a cool beverage in the air-conditioned Clubhouse or sitting on the deck outside overlooking #18 green. The second 9 was finished in the fall of 07 and opened to the public April 2008. The course is located 13 miles west of Grand Island on Highway 2, then ¼ miles north on Highway 11, turn right on Centura Hills Drive. Our members and staff are very proud of their golf course and clubhouse. We invite everyone to come and enjoy a game we all love on a course we love to play.
